digital ballasts

Hey all

I'm thinkin of gettin a 600 watt Lumatek Digital Ballast with the Super Lumen switch and was wondering if anybody has any experience with them the bumpf looks good but would like to hear from someone that's actually used one
are they quiet for instance?
do you get increased yield with Super Lumen switch on?
is the life of your bulb shorter?
are the savings on electric for real?

Lumatek's are good and reliable but my buddy had one of those purple lumatek ballasts with the lumen switch and it didnt burn his light, we took the ballast back and we got a brand new one cause the internals of the digitals cant be easily operated on like the magnetic ballast , I run two 600 galaxies mh/hps ballast and they work like a charm, the ballast is super quiet, it energizes quick and Ive had no problems with em

Running a Lumatek Digital Ballast now im very happy burns my bulb brighter and its silent :)
