I want to test my soil ph, i have an Essentials digital ph tester [pen] for testing water ph are they ok to test soil ph also??? or are you better off with a electronic soil ph tester with the two prongs??

I wish I could remember the details... but isn't there a way to take a sample of soil and add a inert liquid to find the correct PH?

I am probably wrong about it, but I thought I read that somewhere...

Usually us soil growers test the runoff immediately after it comes out the bottom for the pH of the soil.

That is good to know UEFEAR... my mother plants are in soil and that was how I was checking their PH.

make sure you dont get the head sensor dirty when you take the runoff, make sure there is little or no dirnt in the runoff or its all settled or that will fuck shit up. peace
