For the record, everyone I know personally hates Nickelback. Pretty spot on analysis of Canadian "culture" though.A Scientific Explanation for Why Everyone Hates Nickelback
They're too good at what they do.www.mentalfloss.com
"They’re also a little too similar to beloved bands like Nirvana, and they aren’t perceived as adding anything original to the formula, instead cranking out hits that might be described as grunge-light. “The hope and memory of grunge can be seen to be soiled in the worst kind of way in the hands of bands such as Nickelback, who represent everything grunge was against, not least of all commercialism,” Anttonen writes. The band’s very success undermines its ability to borrow from grunge and metal, because there’s nothing metal about a song your mom listens to on the radio—“horrifying radio rock,” as one critic called Nickelback in 2005."
I'm just busting your balls. I don't really care if you like Nickelback but I enjoy talking shit about them.
Real shit though, people like things a lot blander up here in Canada. Opinions, music, clothes, food... It makes sense that they're mocked in the States for being generic, overly commercial, and radio friendly because that's legit what people in Canada want. They are composite coco/foam rooters. I've used them a lot without issue in rockwool. They have basically the same air holding capacity. You have the clones in a peat pot inside rockwool? Don't you have issues that way?
Oh, ok. That works. I was wondering about the porosity of it.They are composite coco/foam rooters. I've used them a lot without issue in rockwool. They have basically the same air holding capacity.View attachment 1162974
Environment issues or you think it’s the cuts? That one is going to be a monster. Happy grows brotherWell.. off to a rough start lol, but I've got faith.
Here is the keeper with the best root system, and this was 4 days of growth between pics, so despite starting out looking a bit haggard, she's growing fast enough. I have faith it will fill in nicely here quick. Put her on a slab today so I expect in a week from now things will look a lot different. Certainly nothing impressive to see yet lol.View attachment 1164270View attachment 1164310View attachment 1164311
A bit of enviro dial in im sure, a bit of me being too rough with them when I transplanted.. other than that im not sure. I won't assume anything. Once this one dips it's roots Into the slab it's gonna go nuts.Environment issues or you think it’s the cuts? That one is going to be a monster. Happy grows brother
