How did it taste?
I started making regular vape juice about 12 years ago, I have around 25 different flavors I can currently make, unlike the dab pens if the mix is right there's no cough or harshness, I have 4 mixing cups of blueberry honey steeping right now, but it hits almost like an edible because by the time you feel it, it's too late to do anything but take a nap.
I quit smoking cigarettes and switched to a vape , I used flower to help me not want to light up a cigarette. But I'm good now ha ha can handle sitting with people smoking cigarettes.

I did the same with quitting cigarettes but after about a year the vape was making it hard to breathe which made it easy to quit vapping. I've played around with making my own THC and/or CBD vape juice but never really succeeded. I bought a qt of both the vg and pg 3-4 years ago (since rats got into it and ate them both) but didn't like the results. I even tried 90% alcohol tincture added and blended as well as evaporating off the alcohol. No dice.
You can get a liter of food grade propylene glycol through walmart online, just soaking your decarbed flower in that alone makes a big Improvement on the thc level, I use liquid stevia as a sweetener, I run my mixes at about a 75vg 25pg ratio just for the clouds it produces.

What about straining out the sediment , I find with the purple punch vape juice it has some sediment in it , has a tendency to make my coil burn up a little faster gets sticky cause it's thicker than the nicotine stuff but it's easy to clean out I just alternate it with my vape juice gets me longer time and then gives me no issues.I did the same with quitting cigarettes but after about a year the vape was making it hard to breathe which made it easy to quit vapping. Have you ever tried just using kief ( bottom of grinder stuff
) to make your brew. I have quite a bit of that usually laying around and never know what to do with it other than sift it back into my joints. Can I infuse that as well to increase potency and lower sediment from decarbed flower ?
The cbd fx stuff I get that's just cbd is really clean burning in my vape , crystal clear like water actually cleans my coil, so I wonder how they do that then ? Inspired me, just ordered a food grade vg/pg 2 pack. Ill try it out with my trimmings/scraps from this season.
I use a small funnel with a coffee filter rolled up to strain out the sediment, just put the funnel in whatever bottle you're making and let it slow drip, for my mixes I've found most fruit flavorings are good, except raspberry, I do custom mixes for coworkers, favorite mix so far is caramel cheesecake with chocolate and toasted coconut.

Yes, decarb for 30 minutes at about 230 degrees, otherwise the liquid just takes the color and smell of the buds.
