DIY under current rdwc

Just finished last night. 8 gal tanks, 1200gph pump, bunch of fittings from hardware store and a few hours of work.

Nice setup. That pump might be a little to much though. Top fed till roots hit the water? I might also have put the return into the side of the bucket but that style bucket works for it and i wouldn't worry about the head pressure or extra elbows with that pump. You planning to insulate to light proof and help keep the temps down?

Adding a water chiller, but until then I’ll blow cold air thru the intake to the base.

Yea drip till roots reach. Also the pump has a remote with a dimmer to dial it down.

Finally had a day to setup and run. Few leaks in the bulkheads but nothing a good wrench couldn’t fix
