Evening all,
If running 100% organic do you have to adjust ph?
I'm using the biobizz range, and coco.
Upto now I have adjusted to around 5.8 to 6.0. However I have read that when using pure organic no adjustments of pH are needed.
Thanks

Debatable. But i always ph my nutrient solution. If i was growing in living organic supersoil and feeding only water i might not bother as long as the alkalinity wasnt too high. But mixing nutrient solution, yeah i'd ph it, organic or not.

Right now im feeding Earth juice and after 2 days of bubbling it lands at 7.2ph, i add a small splash of grow or bloom nutes to it and it drops the ph back to 6.2-6.4 before i feed it to the plants. I dont use ph adjusters to adjust the ph.
If it was low everytime instead of high Id pretreat my water with more potassium silicate to increase the ph.

Thank you bro. I am also using living amendments, I will carry on ph adjustment for now. I have emailed biobizz with the same question. 👍

Always ph your water. Nutrient level in the soil can be fine but water ph is how the roots intake the food.
