Times are tough, inflation is out of control!
How do you handle your carbon filters?

I don’t run a filter. Just let my neighbors enjoy the aroma.
Its a house guest im worried about. Im going to refill mine and use them during flowering. Smoking covers it during veg.
It sucks ass. I have to hide everything.

I ordered activated charcoal already. Ill try and refill mine. I also wonder if i can make a prefilter of activated charcoal. Say like a 2 stage.
Like a pre-filter for the intake side or pre filter before it goes through the main filter?

I run exhaust and intake fans, I feel the intake fan helps with the smell because I don't have any flaps open at the bottom of the tent so the air doesn't have a chance to escape.

Build a pre filter out of pvc or wood. Then run that with the reg filter and fan. I prefilter my intake with a cloth filter. Honestly everything gets grimy looking no matter how much i clean or upgrade filters. I just want to control the smell a bit more

Refillable filters are cheaper in the long run and are better for the environment, so that's what we have. I only use them when my wife complains about the smell of the nutrients. Otherwise, we usually like the smell of the flowers.

I wish someone made a in-line carbon filter. My tent vents out of the house. I have the in-line fan mounted outside of the tent to allow the light to hang higher.

I unscred the 4 screws drilled out the 4 rivets. And put the used carbon in a bag to weigh for replace. The only thing i have read was to make sure its fully packed.
Im going to compact it as i fill it.
Just about 7lbs in the 6inch vivosun filter
