I`m 7 weeks in flower running E&F in hydroton 3 gal pots. I have multiple strains and some will be finished a week to 10 days others.I`ve been feeding them high ppm`s 1850 right now so I gotta get a decent flush. I`m trying to figure out how to flush without starving my other girls. I`ve been strain this is the reason I have multiple strain running. So I was wondering if I used clearex for 3 days just really flushing the system if that would be good enough. If so that would only be 3 days with the rest of my plants not getting food. I really need help on this. If you have any ideas please share. Thanks

In my cases it seems to work and I know lots that use it. I would only run it for one day one time. Let it soak for about 15-30 mins then drain it out clean out the tubs and the days after just flush with plain water with nothing. I usually do that and run fresh water for the last 4-6 days then harvest.

Dont use clearex too long, you will cut off the ability for your plants to properly absorb nutes. In my opinion, clearex should not be used a flush, but as a treatment when your plants are in bad shape or have salt issues.

My fav flush is straight up R/O water with frequent soakings.

You should be able to clean them up pretty quick with your setup. When you are ready to flush.. Go ahead and dump your res, refill with your normal water supply. Add recommended amount of clearex and let it run for a hour depending on your feed schedule. Dump the res and refill with fresh water. 3 days is way too long with clearex imo.

I use Clear Ex as a flush and then just ph'd water for my last week… but I use rockwool which holds more nutrients. I wouldn't use it 3 days straight either.

Thanks everyone I wont run it for 3 days for sure based on what you all have told me thank you. I use ro do you guys think its important to flush with ro obviously my ro has no ppm and my tap is like 400 ppm. Its just that my ro system only does 55 gal a day and is a pain in the ass filling up trashcans. Im getting a water tank next run set up with a float. I should of purchased a bigger system but live and learn. In this case spend n learn lol.

IMO...Clear-ex is way too harsh on the girls for long periods

I used to use clear-ex but switched long ago to FloraKleen by GH...it is not so abbrassive...I run it thru my hydro set-up with fresh res at half strength for 7 days

Regarding the r/o water set up, I have a stealth system with a direct water line, 55 gal tank with a float switch, and an air stone with an air pump to keep the water circulating and O2ed. Also I purchased sump pump and a clean water RV hose, the pump sits in the bottom with the hose connected and coming out a drilled hole. There rain head connection on the hose, I have the pump on a light swith control. So when I need water I just flip the swith!! Makes life good :)
