I’ve always topped and LST’d my plants.
But after reading innumerable threads and articles about Fimming I thought I’d give it a go.
I’ve got a fair knowledge of botany so I understand the Fimming principal.
My first attempt has resulted in 10 branches. The main stem split into 5 distinct branches extending from the same node, but the central of those 5 has also split into 5 distinct branches.
One of the initial branches doesn’t look like it’s going to grow, so I have 8 viable tops plus it passed dominance down two nodes. Has anyone else seen or heard of this? I was only expecting 4 or if I was lucky 6. I can’t find any other posts relating to this result.
The strain is Cream Caramel and the FIM was made after node 5.
The pics aren’t great but I think they show what I’m talking about
