Fattening buds, how this I do?

Second auto is running way better but I want those nice colas I see in all the pictures! The 9w here (Auto bomb, indica, auto, NASeeds again) is just into the Budcharge cycle a little late but veg and flower were fighting initially so I let the higher veg A&B ride. Now it's popping sugar leaves and if you get out optics there are some first trichromes way down close to the bases. The bud sites are all over and very nice looking. Too early to guess how flowering will go? Do I have to spend $30 on some weird juice again?

No nute seed soil
bone meal
pearlite
worm castings

100w LED vivosun light
same brand tent and vent fan and UPS for the power
tap water plus nutes (home and garden A&B vegetative and Budcharge to flower)
ph-n-p-p test kit and test tubes

Soil is very slightly over 3N - 1P - 1P with a pH of low 6 say about 6.3

18/6 light
3 days to 4 days between feed/water

It's only problem was some kind of weird salt burn that cause spots and went away.
Very minimal trimming. All the branches with buds got trained out and away so nothing is very light poor.

More and appropriate lighting. The plant is so stretched by the time the top is at the light range 10 inches down is so low that they can not get enough energy to form plant material.
It looks like you have proper nutrition for what you are growing.
Large colas need to be trained for. Pruning or sucker flowers that will not get very far and when tall and stacking the plant eats like crazy
Some strains do not stack madly. Sativa based hybrids do this more than indica strains

Strain, noted. This is auto the next are hybrid photos, so going forward I'm less scared to trim because stretching veg will deal with the healing part.
What promotes healing on clipped leaves and buds, is there a topical?
I want to see how roots look post grow on this one too, The first run midget I screwed up had same depth as height but grew like it was a bud shape itself, perhaps root boost will translate to more bud?

Also, it is too late for pruning now right? I had read that doing it late could throw back to veg and cause confusion and generally isn't the time. I could have been reading bus station mentally ill bathroom scrawls though.

You don’t want to do anything to that plant cutting wise just let it go and put some more light on it

Not enough light will just lead to wispy airy buds with no weight

100w isn’t enough for flowering

100 watts will give you enough for one plant if the light schedule is 18-6.
You can get 650 ppfd for a 2x2 footprint. Not enough for a photo in flower but an auto will be ok. Right around 37dli
The problem is the pattern without side lighting.
Recently on my autos I went with just tieing them down. I also every 2nd node gave the stems a 1/4 turn. I now have mini trees from my autos just now in flower.

As you can see I have multiple bud sites starting. If I wanted a large cola I would have stopped at 8 tops and worked those 8 into a pattern around the hot spot in the center. When you do this the center bud site is culled and the hot spot is where you shove your fan leaves. The remaining 8 sites are then prioritized for nutrition but evenly sharing a good light pattern. Winds up with a circle of buds and one will normally be prioritized.

Well if this was a voting contest for " do i have enough light for a big strong cola" I'd vote NO you don't. I've run many many autos and i've never had a light that was under power which in my view and many other experience growers that light your using is only strong enough for veg. cycle. You want strong plants with larger buds get a stronger light. And don't defoiliate the autos so early like you did.

I trimmed two whole leaves it's entire life. I'm going to have to live with what I have as far as a light. Disability is a shoestring and I'm still in court over it.
But yes it now goes in the plan. But then another light now means cooling, which now means humidity fuckery so... I want those buds but I'm simply not going to get them now.

Having more light is never a bad thing, bud. What it’s all about is controlling the output on them. If you have them in a tent or an enclosed space that’s tight.
Here in this pic in my grow space I have a tent with a 4500 W
Outside of the tent, I have a 7000, 3000 above
And 2 2000 2 1500 and a 1000 for side lighting.
I’ve been doing this stuff for quite a while
So I don’t suggest tackling side lighting anytime soon. But for reference that room is 4 1/2‘ x 10 1/2‘.
I’ll run 2 6 inch oscillating fans, 1 6inch in-line ventilation fan
And I have one auxiliary 4 inch fan that takes care of the tent
It’s all about how you modulate your output

And yes, deadheads will buy fucking anything Especially if the boys faces are plastered all over it

One time I was super high and bought a thimble with a stealie on it for $10 lol.
It's a 2x2x3.5ft tent, vivosun, all reflective inside. I'll hang it as a side light. Like yours but square not wide. It's closed almost all day, the ventilation is good as I have PC building experience.
