Female Seeds

I have read that female seeds are not as potent as seeds grown from regular seeds of the same strain...Is this true? I have never bought female seeds and am interested on hearing everyones opinion on them....Thanks

I would have a hard time believing that the potency would be less since they've been around for quite a while. The only downside in my mind is that I like to make seeds when I find something that I really like. So I only run standard seeds for this reason.

Just my opinion though.
