Been cloning with my ezcloner for years now running a small double T-5 fixture. Came home one day and one went out a few hours later the other one did I didn’t have any replacement bulbs and I didn’t want to drag out a 4 foot 4 bulb T-5 fixture (would have been a pain in the ass. I recently bought all of a buddy’s grow equipment because he quit growing. I had gotten several LED fixtures in the deal. I don’t no a lot about LEDs but I had one that was the perfect size for my operation. Did some research and found out it was a veg light. I think?

This was 3 weeks ago. I was dumb founded at the results. I’ve been cloning these 2 strains for years and have never got results like what I’ve experienced. Don’t no if the difference was from starting with T-5s and switching over to LED, or exactly how the root growth was so superior then what I’ve seen in the past.

I recommend going and getting a 150W CFL bulb 4000k works perfect, clones don’t require alot of lighting, and under the stress they already are going thru you dont want to throw too much light at them! (Cfl bulbs are like $1 at a dollarstore, might want to grab a some of some sort if you dont have one!)

Wow, those really took off, sure those weren’t crossed with “jack in the beanstalk seeds”? Lol

I set up a little cloning area in my garage and took several clones a week ago and a few this past weekend. One round CFL and one 12 watt LED on a timer 14-10, plenty of light.

I also took tomato, oregano, thyme and rosemary to give away. I usually just throw those cuttings in water but I've got the room and want to get these plants out to friends asap so thought I'd give it a try.

I won't know how well this works for another week or two but so far everyone looks good.

Got 8 out of 8. I usually get maybe 60-70%. I'll keep them under light until next month, I don't want them flowering like their mothers.

Once the weather warms and days are longer I'll keep clones in the greenhouse. This worked better than I expected.
