So why would you not use feminized seeds?

The reason for not using feminized seeds is the strains I choose we’re made custom for me by the grower so the genetics weren’t feminized yet.

Day 14 Veg. A bit of leaf growth and height difference nothing new other then a new ph pen to keep the ph under lock. Reason for it was my old pen wasn’t reading correctly as I started to see my leaves change colors and my pen has always been a suspect to me so I have changed it out. Here are some update pics after as I was watering them.

Your grow is looking really good! I recently cut my grow space in half from a 5x5 (25 square feet) to two smaller AC Infinity Tents (12 square feet), so I’m using the same as you (Controller 69 in a 2x4 and two 2x2 tents). I only grew 4 at a time under my 5x5. The tent exhaust too hot to run that many LEDs (960 watts) in summer since I vent into my grow room.

My flower tent is an ACI 2x4….I found that anything more than two photo plants in 5 gallons (maybe 3 autos in 3-gallon pots) fills up the space sufficiently for me. If you want to maximize your space, a 2-plant SCROG will fill it up (see photo). Being your first grow, Id avoid over-filling your tent. If you do, keep a LOT of air movement around the colas to prevent bud rot. My small 2x2 tent is all AC Infinity using the T22 LED, Controller 69, 11inch sidelights, oscillating fan and ACI humidifier (highly recommended). A slightly larger veg tent (3x3 or 2x4) would be nice because you could easily veg 3 plants in 5 gallon containers.

I agree with SSgrower on this….a second “veg” tent would allow you to run a flower tent and a veg tent at the same time. This is the route I have taken (2 smaller tents instead of one large tent). The smaller veg tent works great for 2-3 plants in one gallon containers. Once I’m ready to move to 5 gallons, I move them to the flower tent. I have purchased a cheap 2x2 (ViparSpectra ) and an AC Infinity 2x2 tent……there is no comparison….the ACI is far superior in quality.

This is just my experience. Many people run more plants than I do, but I don’t like my garden to be that crowded.

I just picked up a 4x4x78” tent for $55 last week on Amazon it’s a cheap Zazzy brand tent, there not on sale anymore but it’s $78 now at full price,

Can say it was defenitly a cheap tent but it’s lightproof and it works fairly decent so far, defenitly not the same quality as my AC Infinity tent but for the price I’m more than happy with it

Day 17 veg. I have decided to start LST and got out my red 90s I had from my last grow. Got the dehumidifier out as I have noticed my RH spiked a bit over the last few days. I have dropped my humidifier down to 55-60%. My temps have held pretty stable lows of 70 highs of 78. Other than that nothing new. I hope everyone had a great Christmas. My only reason for not having a second tent at the current moment is space I’m waiting to get more of my grow room arranged to bring in a 3x3 tent to be my flower tent.

I have thought of the idea of a second tent for awhile since my last grow I pondered it I will be investing in one as I go along and the amount of plants I popped was only cause of my seeds not being feminized.

Day 20 veg topped the few that are at the 6th node mostly because my last run I was scared to top so I decided to experiment and see what I can do. But here’s the tent after a water today.

Day 23 Veg. Introduced my other in-line fan to get a better air circulation also have topped most plants. I have ordered the gender test kit will keep updated as soon as I get results. Also top dressed with azomite and gypsum 1 tbsp per plant.

Day 28 Veg so I have a deficiency starting to show on lower plants and really can’t pin it down hoping someone can help shed light on it. So far I’ve added 2 tbsp of 4-4-4 to each one 3 weeks ago tomorrow. I added 1 tbsp of gypsum and azomite to each 1 week ago. Ph my water to 5.8-6.0 an I boil the water for 20 mins after it starts to bubble and let it sit for 24 hours before using it.

Day 33 Veg. Got the gender last week and had samples sent out to be tested 7/9 female not including the auto strain (test number 20 was sent in as a control) . Moved the auto to my old 2x2 tent under a 100 watt knock off light will be hopefully switched out before end of harvest. 2 males was a gassius clay and ice cream cake stain. Plan on flipping coming around week 5 maybe mid or closer to week 6 as I will need to amend the soil so and don’t want to push until week 9-10 with 8 plants. Other then that nothing new other then a light defoliation.

Day 36 Veg. Nothing new other then moved lst clips and still growing out till the few pots I need come in to flip all them.

Day 2 of Flower!!! Excited to have made it to flower especially with 8 plants ( 7 pheno 8 auto). I have transplanted all over to 3 gallon pots. With a full strength feed of 5 tbsp of 4-4-4 and 5 tbsp of 2-8-4 ( Gaia green ). Followed up with mykos at 1 tbsp in the blend an 1 tbsp on roots , 1 tbsp of rock dust, 1 tbsp of gypsum. An yea I know I shouldn’t have topped the autoflower or shouldn’t have transferred it either but wanted to experiment on it to see my limits.

Day 15 flower. Any tips for lollipopping? Looking to do 1 last full lollipop and defoliating before leaving them alone other then watering till harvest.
