Those plants are super dense. They are photos, correct?

I would most likely defoliate some of those huge leaves. Photosynthesis only happens when the stomata on the bottom of the leaves have air exchange - specifically access to CO2. With that leaf density, I believe they are struggling to breathe. Micro climates of high RH and low CO2 concentrations around the leaves can do this.

But if they are autos, hold off.

im no pro but read alot and do a few grows,, dont take this for a 100 but ju tryna be cool n try to help u kno haha,,,

the leaves are canoing but if temps are good, maybe PH , have you checked leaf temp? if your organic i dont think ph is the issue , did you give them feeed or they still feeding off the soil

I had some plants that I messed up their ph, I was using some fish emulsion and read that its very acidic and when I got my PH meter I tested one feed and the ph was at 4 lol but they loooked similar to that droopy top and twisted leaves
the plant on the back in the right corner looks like it could usee a touch a cal mag or epsom salt , make a foilar and mist them all
I second that. Just last week my pH-meter malfunctioned and I corrected to somewhere around 5 (I guess). While doing I already wondered why I needed so much P-acid but was in a hurry, but later checked the meter and saw it was off by over -1 at the log scale.

The bigger plants took it those in early veg got droopy, stunted and one grew shriveled "mutated" leaves and just recently recovered (usually feed just about 6.6-6.8 in organic soil)

I would definitely read @N1ghtL1ght post. I have to say my soil experience is limited. I’m a hydro grower and I need to stay in my lane when a pro like him with experience chimes in.

In terms of defoliation never new growth unless you mean it. How do you plan to flower these out? Do you plan to top or Scrog or any other training?

If your lights are leaning heavily blue it can cause them to be short and fat. Some people like this especially those with height constraints. But that’s a bad thing if going for yield. Then under flower you really want more red. Not sure how adjustable your lights are. Have you looked into the PPFD apps for your phone?

I looked up your light but could not find any spectrum info on the mars site. Anybody know? It looks like true 300W

true 300 is what I have read (says 300 ). interestingly enough I grew my grandaddy purp, first run under a very cheap blurple Bloomspect 1200 Watt (true 300) which us what I have my current autos under. I really thought this l8ght I purchased was a good light with alot of capabilities. I'm still just trying to learn balance of height, to intensity ratio too.

Hey Moe's. (since you have truly been a. huge help to me) with 6 plants in 2 gallon pots what's the max you reccomend I Veg. I Topped the back 3 and really wanted to try and leave tye front 3 untouched besides feeding branches through SCROG. I'm right around 32 days for back from and 39 days on front row. but these damn fan leaves are massive lol. I was going to shoot for 50 days but they are getting big quick. I tried to LST one in front and completly broke the top off cause how solid it is.

So I scrolled back up and think I have a sense of your grow. This is in a 4x2 right?

I have a completely different grow style from you. I run max 6 plants in a 4x8 and currently 2 in a 4x8. I think you should listen to some soil growers over me lol. If ya wanna talk big plants I’m your daisy.

If no one stops in I’ll call somebody for you.

so I think because I started with autos is why I'm doing more plants just simply not knowing. I'll attach h a video with all my questions and what my tent looks like. frankly I think I wanna throw them into flower already, find 1 or 2 bad ass, colorful, strong strains and just have one table top canopy off one maybe 2 big plants. I really wanna grow one or 2 big ass plants. I'm ok throwing them into flower to get it over with as I have other autos going and plenty of herb right now lol. so if you wanna find a way to help me get in max 2 big ass plants in this space I will take any and all suggestions.

Cool cool. So each plant will have a 2x2 footprint. Next question do we have a budget?

Alright, so medically what is your goal? Pain Relief?

How tall is your tent?

How tight are your environmental controls? Like can you dial in a VPD or do you have a limiting factor like excess heat?

I will admit it publicly, severe depression/anxiety/ptsd/sleep disorder. I personally don't care for heavy sativas, but yet wanna a smile on my face if that makes sense. at night pa8n and sleep. I was involved in a very bad car accident and nearly left paralyzed in 2017.
as far as environment, temperatures have always been my issue. I struggle to stay below 80 in my tent. in order to get it that low I have to have my 6 in intake on max which then dries the tent out. I have Humidifier set at 80 percent and it barely holds at 50 because of in take and exhaust almost cranked at full.
my tent is 4x2x5. defiently more suited for smaller plants or atleast a lower table top canopy which I would love to learn to do.i would love to have 1 or 2 bad ass plants that I can care for as much as needed then to keep running 4 to 6 plants in this space.
I can get my variety of stains through my autos that I am growing much more with confidence in a spare bedroom closet.
so if you want to suggest things to buy I would he willing to look into it

This is going to be a long one so grab a cup of coffee and set aside a few minutes for some quiet time. This is meant just for you so long is good. People skim right past these long ones unless they are really invested in the tread.

As much as I want to help you level up in yield, I think there may be a better option. Quite frankly you are doing just fine and growing good weed. Maybe not as much as you would like, but you can make some small tweaks here and there and keep improving every harvest.

Taking a step back and looking at the whole situation I’m going to make a divergent suggestion. Using cannabis for severe depression/anxiety/ptsd/sleep disorder is a bit like using aspirin for a broken leg. It will take the edge off but really is not well suited to treat root causes.

If I am reading you right and these issues came up after a traumatic experience, what you want to look at is psilocybin.

Can Psilocybin Help Treat PTSD?

While therapy, antidepressants, and antipsychotics help many patients, these methods often fall short. Studies have suggested that antidepressants do not work well for people who have had multiple traumas over the course of years or chronic PTSD. A new study found that the antipsychotic risperidone worked no better than a placebo in alleviating typical PTSD symptoms in patients who had the disorder long-term or who continued to experience symptoms after being treated with antidepressants.

Because these drugs can also cause intolerable side effects, many patients are left to experience PTSD with no sign of relief. Many of these patients turn to substance abuse, develop anger management issues, or commit suicide. A study analyzing data from the National Comorbidity Survey showed that out of six anxiety diagnoses, PTSD was significantly associated with suicide attempts.

There is some evidence in animal studies to show that psilocybin, the psychedelic compound found in “magic mushrooms,” may act by stimulating nerve cell regrowth in parts of the brain responsible for emotion and memory. A 2013 study from the University of South Florida. Opens in a new tab found that psilocybin stimulates neurogenesis—the growth and repair of brain cells in the hippocampus, which is the brain’s center for emotion and memory. In the study, mice that were given psilocybin overcame fear conditioning far better than mice that were given a placebo. The study supported the hypothesis that psilocybin can help break the traumatic cycle that occurs in patients with PTSD.

Stephen Ross, MD. Opens in a new tab, a psychiatrist at NYU Langone, conducted a study on terminally ill cancer patients. Opens in a new tab , and found that one-time treatment with psilocybin very quickly brought relief from distress that had lasted more than 6 months in 80 percent of study subjects.

In Dr. Ross’s study, half of the participants were randomly assigned to receive psilocybin. The rest received a control drug of niacin, which is known to produce a “rush” similar to that associated with a hallucinogenic drug experience. Halfway through the seven-week study period, all of the participants switched treatments. Neither the researchers nor the patients knew which patients had first received psilocybin or which received the control. All of the patients, mostly women, had advanced gastrointestinal, blood, or breast cancers and had been diagnosed as having serious psychological distress related to their disease.

Patients noted that after being treated with psilocybin, they felt their quality of life improve. They noted that they wanted to engage more with external activities, had more energy, experienced improved relationships with their family members, and performed better at work. The researchers concluded that if psilocybin could reduce psychological distress in terminally ill cancer patients, it could apply to less extreme medical conditions related to psychological distress as well.

There are new studies on this coming out all the time. Science was stifled for decades because old white men were horrified by these drugs and passed draconian laws. Bunch of bullshit.

Growing mushrooms is easy. You won’t need a lot and it’s not like you will be using them over and over. It’s possible it is a one and done kinda thing and maybe every 6 months you go again but that all remains to be seen.

It is getting close to 5 years ago that I shut off alcoholism like a light switch with a single dose and a free weekend. I shit you not. Not a drink or desire since. This was my first trip ever.

My favorite analogy is the ski slope. You head to the top and make your path in the fresh snow. Next time you end up going in the same tracks because it made sense to take that route last time. After 20 trips down the mountain you have deep grooves worn in the snow and your only choice if you wanna keep skiing is to stick inside the grooves. Mushrooms are like dumping 2 feet of snow on the mountain. You get to PICK your path now and erase the stuff behind you. Liberating.

So while this is a thread on weed and we will surely get back to that, I’m going to recommend a book for you. It’s on audible if you prefer.

How to Change Your Mind: What the New Science of Psychedelics Teaches Us About Consciousness, Dying, Addiction, Depression, and Transcendence https://a.co/d/fjW4YVD

This is a process that takes time. You have to get mentally prepared. It will take probably 3 months to go from idea to mushrooms in the jar, and I would encourage you to use that time to learn and prepare. It can be done on your own or therapy can help.

Once that “broken leg” is healed, you might still have some arthritis. Weed works good for that.

I love this! I have come to understand that PTSD is my worst one cause it can sneak up at any minute. I could never expect herb to help with it. HOWEVER, it feels so good when I am having my "good days" and not ha ING to be so stressed out. it's such a hard emotion to describe. I REALLY like this read That you provided.
all I know is when everything went down in 2017 and I was on 17 different medications I was a zombie and don't wish that on anybody.

I’ve personally experienced Halucenogens change peoples lives. But you need to approch it with a clear head and open mind, then start learning.

You ever watch seal team? In like yhe 5th season main character uses mescaline to overcome severe ptsd. There are a network of veterans pretty much like depicted in that episode that help each other thru the process. There are just too many success stories to not look into this for yourself.

Agree with the ability of halucenogens to clear the mind (have done plenty with good and bad results). But, only your own will can carry you across the finish line… mental health is nothing to play with…. mixing drugs and alcohol with an unstable mind frame is a recipe for disaster…we are all crazy… don’t be that guy…

UPDATE: I have decided that based on a good portion of my scrog being filled out and time constraints I have officially flipped the lights to 12/12 after 5 and 6 weeks. At this point everything looks really good. I m just learning to properly remove fan leaves. I feel like I defoliated alot today, yet the plants still look full. Should I just pick at it over tye flowering period? leave it alone for now?
I'll take any recommendations. I'll attach a video as I feel pictures don't always catch all the details
