Google magnesium deficiency in cannabis, and check out the images! And see what you think! Just guessing! I am far from an expert!
I was thinking magnesium and was finding to use Epsom salts for an organic garden but was also warned about something called nutrient lock and that made me a bit nervous to pull the trigger on adding anything until I could get some input from the community. Thank you for your help in really appreciate it!!! Have you heard of this nutrient lock thing?

Another question with the magnesium deficiency i was hearing it would affect old growth at the bottom first but my plants are really dark green and nice looking on the old growth mine are affected in all the new growth can a magnesium deficiency present itself that way as well?

Don’t know! I grow outdoors and don’t get this kind of stuff! I was just trying to point you in the right direction! Wait until you talk to a decent indoor grower before you do anything rash! Get a few more opinions!

Could it be that the soil was too heavily ammended or with a bad ph? What ammendments does that soil have? The yellowing started after the transplant yes?

Yes, Neut lockout is very real, I agree with the mag def, usually begins between the veins of the leaves and works it’s way back to the veins,

Cal and mag also work as a team, too much or little of one and it will lock out the other, one of the main reasons calmag is premixed is so you get the correct ratio, I grow organic and non organic, for my organic runs I do use gypsum for cal and epsom for mag, it’s a bit trickier to figure out, lots of tinkering to find that right ratio, also takes longer to show change especially the cal side as the gypsum still needs to break down before it can be utilized by the plant.

Mag def can also start at the top usually most aggregated by LED’s it s become a much larger def as LED’s became more common in the community over HID etc, usually when I have mag def it shows top first closest to the lights

This is also a good opinion, a over amended medium can do weird stuff to plants. Usually depending on the amendments as some are immediately bio-availabe and some aren’t,

I found it’s best to pre mix your soil and amendments and let them sit for at least a week to 2 before using, if you look at something like coots mix it’s reccomended to premix and moisten 4-6 weeks ahead of time so the amendments can be broken down (I love seen that thick white fuzz over the medium when I open the tote, usually the more you see the better the run will be in my experience)

It looks like P deficiency. Older leaves seem to be purple in color and the middle growth looks like Mg deficiency because the purpling hasn't spread yet.

If it's a purple strains, then it's just filling in the purple pigments from older to newer growth and it's probably fine because I'm not seeing any necrosis yet.

I saw it before the transplant but I had fox farm soil the brown bag and I used 12 gal of it. I then added worm casting 10% of my soil as well as Gaia green 4-4-4/ 4tbs a gal soil. And mychorizae for the roots at transplant.

Wow this was very informative thank you for your help it is greatly appreciated to be able to pick the communities brain and feel a ton more confident in making an informed decision I think for my inexperience I will go with cal mag being my first run and I don't want to lose it. But that will be the only thing not organic so I got close my first run lol. Thanks for the recommendation on the coots mix does that mix work for veg and flower?

I bought the clones from a local dispensary but the one strain shouldn't be too purple from what I have seen online it's mint chocolate chip and the other strain that I can't find info on is ub40 the only thing I know is that's a unemployment benefit form as well as a reggae band so I assume it's named after the ladder but the band is named after the form ironic lmao

Did you go full dose when you ammended? Did you ammend the new soil? It could be a deficiency yes, could also be a toxicity, funny thing how these things work, thats why we need as much info as possible. If it is a deficiency and started happening right before transplant maybe the plant depleted that soil, if you didnt ammend the new soil then its just getting worse specially after adding extra hungry microorganisms. This is what gaia green all purpose is made of, it has everything your plant needs including calmag. Can you top dress with it? If so maybe trying a small top dress wouldnt hurt, I dont see burnt tips so I doubt they have toxicity, no clawed leaves or tips pointing downwards either. That said, being organic ammendments, it might still get worse before it stops while the nutrients become available.

Your nutes are all good, I do the same but with ocean forest and a few more amendments.
And you seeing the deficiency before uppotting, give it a few more days and your ladies are going to be loving life once that 444 begins breaking down.
And put some full spectrum bulbs for your fluorescent. I used to have a 4' 8bulb that I used for my veg for 3 years before I was able to upgrade.
If you have the room and want to have veg and flowering going at the same time, this will be your start once you get your V650
