First time grow. Need Info to feed

These babies are my first time in a long time growing, I had previously grown with a hydroponic system and my friend gave me everything to feed. I feel like my plants need more than the soil provides I’m just not sure where to start. I think the first may be dying I’m not sure. It is still growing and producing more leaves. The second is doing okay, just wanted to see what to use to feed them properly. I am using tap water.

wet/DRY!! cycle.. roots need airflow, holes in bottom and lower sides too allow quicker wet dry cycle! when those two small round cotyledon leaves start to yellow is when the plant has used up the nutrients it came with, that’s when to start feeding, usually 3/4 nodes.. what light you got? take a photo with the light in the picture and the plants..
