First time grower, is this a female?

I'm from Kingston, Ontario, Canada. I'm a first time outdoor grower and I have four plants, 3 clones and one from seed. The clones have already begun flowering but the one from seed (now almost 9 ft tall) seems to be still in veg... Or pre flower even. I've attached a photo of the area growing on the one plant and some of the clones too. They're all different strains, is it possible that the one from seed just need more time to start flower...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
