i have these 23 1/2" x 1" which i got from a previous aquarium, the maker is nisso and the ballast have the maximum amount of power 400 W, with this little fact i assumed i could get some very bright lights, my question is what is the maximum wattage i can get from a fluorescent bulb? plus the lumens and the heat output of these lamps. Thanks in advance for the advice.

What type of ballast is it ie. T-12, T-8, T-5 etc. That will make the difference on what type of bulbs you can get.

dude thanks man when u told me that i took a look at the ballast and it straight tells me the wattage it can handle, which is 10-30 W, is that enough to create a good yield in flowering stage? im keeping it outside at this time for about 2 months and then put it in my grow box for flowering. im going to have one of those plant/aquarium tubes and a sunshine tube or should i get just regular sterile white? also the specs on the plant tube is 750Lumens and the sunshine with 850Lumens but with 2000K color spectrum.

i would appreciate any help u can give me
