(for soil growers only) are dry backs really important in soil

BTW to be clear I don't mean germination at 12/12. Just until the seedling stage is done.

18/6 (I do 9/3) from sprout until about 5 nodes tall. That part is largely strain dependent though.

Not to get overly technical but sog works best without any veg time. Even just 2 weeks of veg like you planned will make your stretch period so much different because of side branching. If you're really going to pack the pots side to side and fill the tent you're going to want to go straight to 12/12. They'll still veg for 2 weeks until they're sexually mature but I think the hormone levels are different because of the darkness and they just grow like donkey dicks instead of spreading out.

Hand watering and maintaining 20 plants in three gallon pots in a crowded 4×4 will be challenging enough!

Good luck and keep us posted!
Its all irrigation so no hand feeding and u think straight to flower would be best ? I always thought a good little veg was important for roots course if ur trying get 14 grams per plant and u have like 60 in ur tent cause all extremely small pots

All clones a true sog should always be clones easier for a even canopy I mean u can do it with seeds but be ready some might stretch more than u like ahahaha

Yeah when you have the room and the mother stock to take that many clones from it must be nice. I've always been swimming in seeds though.

Nobody I grew with was really worried about roots in a sea of green. There's no need for an expansive root zone to support a plant that small. We did it in 100% perlite before rockwool was easier to get. Ebb and flow baby.

Bottom line is in that size tent you can get 10 oz from 1 plant or 10oz from 20 plants. Depends on your approach.

There's more than one way to skin a cat!

Good luck! Keep us posted!

Iv pulled 3 pounds in a 4x4 in hydro so I'm not at all excepting 10 oz and I know roots don't matter if ur doing a true sog but in that case u would be growing easyly 60-80 small pots and have 1 cola a plant I got 20 plants in 3 gallon soil pots so it's different it's not a true true sog more a hybrid but yea I'm definitely not expecting 10 oz low yields like that are caused by shitty lights or extremely poor environment
