I've been cutting all bug leaves off...
Hate watching my plants waste energy making huge leaves!
Leaves convert light into energy for the plant to grow. It might be for tight space / indoor growing, but don't touch them for outdoors. You'll only lose total production.

I also don't pull leaves on outdoor plants, but I'm not growing outdoor. There are a plethora of ways people have developed growing this amazing plant. What I do might not work for you. But, if you feel like learning something new, Google "shawazzing". This technique and the outcome tells me your statement is false. Anyhow,
Thanks for your input.

Little update:
All plants doing well, Maui filled up nicely. Cookies shouldn't have been mainlined. Glad it's still doing well. Critical mass auto is on day 21. Lst, no topping. Everything starting to flower and take shape. 2 clones in the same bucket are looking great.

Cheers.

Small update:
Decided to "Shawazzie" (if that's correct) both my Maui and Cookies. First set of pics are from week one deleafing. I kind of modified this process a bit. I didn't cut absolutely everything off under the third node. Just took all major fan leaves off and left the top two smallest fans leaves on each plant. Was kind of nervous of stripping everything off them. Hind sight, I would have removed the top two fan leaves as well. But I'm also glad I kept 5-6 nodes on each stem because the the bud sites are blowing up.
Maui:
First pic before trim.
Post trim.

3wks post trim.
Last two pics are pre trim and post trim of the Cookies at 3wks.
One thing I've noticed a difference in already between my other plants that haven't been trimmed like this is the bud size of different parts of the plant. My other plants are more normal where your top bud/cola is bigger than the bud sites below it. But both plants that have been "shawazzied", the bud site below the top cola/bud are the same size. Which is leading me to believe that this technique is worth the go.
Any how.

Cheers yo.

If you have any questions about it, let me know. After reviewing numerous rdwc systems and packages, I slapped this thing together. And it was cheap compared to what's being sold online.
