And G has lots of little friends around there! Coral, snakes, water, moccasins, probably rattlesnakes! And even alligators, grunting out mating calls in his pond! I think I’ll stay where I’m at! L O L

I grew some of the original freak show this year! It’s interesting! Just getting around to harvest!
Damn sounds like you grew all sorts of good ones this year. Were they from Humboldt did they have all the characteristics? I got these from Masonic for cheap so it’s a hopefull crapshoot lol. And yea all the snakes are still moving, to many houses going up around me. The new hunt is chasing Armadillos around my 2 acre lawn at night with a Kel-Tec p32 fucker keep digging deep holes everywhere.

Thank you @Galgrows I never been to the west coast but I hear Oregon is beautiful awesome place one day I’ll make it out there

Looking good down there G! A few starting to get a color in their cheeks! I got them from The guy who bred them! Shapeshifter! He is hi- elevation genetics. Check out the site! Got some interesting stuff! All reasonably priced! Yep, had all the characteristics! The most surprising one Was a rub smelled like juicy fruit gum! So there’s some fu fu in there! Overall, pretty happy with the plant! I wasn’t expecting much! Decent yield! Strange bud! Kind of hard to tell when it’s finished! L O L! The triploid was a solid plant! Early finisher! If I had gotten them in to the ground on time, they would’ve had a larger yield! But a strong plant with potent bud! A month late start plus an early finish equals less of a yield, but doesn’t affect the quality! Keep after those armadillos! They’re supposed to be pretty good eating if you can get past the leprosy scare! L O L! Take it easy!

Thanks @Oldchucky and thanks for sharing buddy I’ll have to check them out. I been lacking self control this year to many different strains I wanna try and want to find keepers and making a bunch of 1 off crosses to go through The Donutz Triploid is on my list to try 🤙

Yeah, it is fun to venture outside the box every once in a while! But I think the Triploids are sterile! So you have to make a tetraploid And cross it with a diploid to make a triploid! L O L! I’m too drunk for this shit! 🤪 Take a walk on the wild side! Then the journey takes on a whole new significance! Will be watching G! Take it easy, brother! And just as an aside to make a tetraploid, you have to treat a diploid with some kind of colchene shit That alters their chromosomes! But land races are a blast! If you can get the seeds to pop! L O L! Put 10 pots out! Grow three with your tired old, safe, modern shit, then have some fun with something different! Is it illegal where you’re at! What’s the fucking difference between getting busted for two plants or 10? it’s illegal where I am also!😂🍻

Yea the triploid are just on my grow list no plans to try and make them or breed them that beyond me and my knowledge. Like I sed I do fuck around a lot though so you never know it all depends if my ocd or adhd is kicking in lol. And from what I’m told they don’t care here if you have 2 or 10 plants they go for the max penalty so screw it sometimes it’s easier to hide in plain sight 🍻 take it easy bro

My plan is to plant the loquat’s in the spring on afew places close by like Jekyll Island and Blackbeard Island I also have a mix of Feminized, Regular and Auto’s probably close to 100, 150 seeds that I’m gonna scattered around too with no plans of ever checking them just helping populate the area 🤙

Yea I stray away from it a bit but cycling back around. Next up is Cherry Pie from Bilber and Banner from Cap🤡.
Trying my hand at a more Organic approach I feel like my soil has been lacking something so gotta wait for it to cook. I looked at 5 super soil recipes and came up with this My Mix so Far but always open to more input. Thanks for tagging along @Mikedin

Is that regular sand or greensand? You have char wood, I’ve been looking into adding biochar to my mix as well

I wish I could do citrus but wayyyy to cold up this way, I got 10 fruit trees in about 3 years ago, had some real bad peach leaf curl this year that wiped out every tree, really pissed is off, I hit them with copper fungicide and got fresh clean leaf growth but imma hit em again before winter as reccomended so we’ll see what happens next spring

Just regular sand when it’s done cooking I might add a little more I want to just barely be able to see it in the mix. I was lookin into that compost & bio char but it says it’s only 20% biochar on the bag so I took a disposable tin tray and started a small fire with dry maple and oak sticks then screened it to get the charred wood pieces and broke them up by hand to make sure it was charred all the way through making similar sized pieces.

Damn that sucks so leaf curl is from a leaf pest and not a root pest? I have a little orange tree with leaf curl.
And yea I’m still kinda new to the citrus trees I’m going on 3yrs here. I grew up in PA on the Delaware river it gets cold there. All the trees were already planted here and I messed them up last year playing around so I thought it would be safer to clone and maybe graph some. Caterpillars we’re a big problem this year because of that cicada hoard that happened north of me a local seed they move more south when that happens but 🤷‍♂️ idk

I did add some lime to my mix also. There’s some of what I was looking at I didn’t add as much worm castings because I have some worm in the mix. And the amount of bone & blood meal seems like a lot to me
