So a lot has happened ha ha.

I had to CULL a plant in week 4 of flower, and that hurt a bit due to intersex traits that I mayyyybe could’ve managed if I clipped off the balls, but not a risk I’m willing to take these day ha ha.

Pretty sure it was due to stress because that plant had a really rough go of it from the start because I wasn’t planning on keeping it initially.

Anyways…

Everything else is suuuuper nice right now, and I’m really impressed with the newest Barney’s Farm genetics and the quality of these genetics VS the other stuff I’ve grown from them!

I think it’s due in part to the team up with Doja and using their RS11 cut ha ha.

Both strains are reeeaallllyyy frosty for the end of week 4 in my experience as well….like…coated…the photos don’t do it justice!

✌🏻

Love this new scope!

Crazy how they stay cloudy for so long!

It’s barely week 5!

I was talking to an old buddy today about this, but you guys know how after you’ve been growing for some years with so many runs under your belt that you can’t remember them all even if you try, and you look at year one, year three, year eight, etc. and you can see such a progression of quality over time?

You can’t quantify that for someone ha ha.

If someone asks you how you grow good weed, you just have to tell them to do it and learn by doing ha ha.

I couldn’t tell you what really changed over those years because I pretty much used the same sort of stuff, but something changed for sure and it has to be me!

These plants are fantastic!

I’m VERY impressed with Barney’s Farm, and their new breeding practices because the phenotypic variation isn’t super crazy.

It’s mid week 6 and already there’s nowhere left to fit anymore trichomes on these flowers ha ha.

The only thing I DONT like is this long internodal spacing on the rainbow sherbet.

And finally some smells to judge are showing up!

The Rainbow Sherbet is smelling like burnt rubber candies ha ha.

Yeah I guess I didn’t consider the trim being way easier!

Good call!

And I’m going to have a lot of really nice trim this time around, but I’ve never really done much in terms of hash besides bubble bags.

Any suggestions?

Holy trichomes these plants are covered!

Look at this coverage up close!

I’m sort of amazed how cloudy some of them are for the last day of week 6 of 9-10!

So.

I hate seeds ha ha ha!

I really do though because plants all grow different, they finish different, eat different, burn different ha ha.

So when the breeder says 56-63 day finish, our grower brains say to ourselves oh cool my plants might be done by 56 days, nice! But in reality it’s more like one will finish at 56 days, 61 days, and 72 days ha ha ha!

I really think that nobody REALLY takes this into consideration that they’re listing minimum times because we’re so antsy ha ha.

Anyways…

These plants are great.

Really tall for indoor plants in my limited indoor experience, and have really started putting on the weight this week.

Waiting patiently for the Super Boof to swell up, and I swear it’s taking forever!

I’ve heard that the strain bulks up really late 🤷🏻

The even weirder and more frustrating thing is that the plants that still have a ton of white pistils, and looks the most underdeveloped other than the super boof, have the cloudiest trichomes!!!

The most ripe looking plant is still very clear!!

This is the most ripe looking plant…

It’s day 45-46 out of 56-62 days by the way!

Looks like one will go 56, and one will go 62 ha ha ha.

Freakin seeds man!!!

Some of these are hard to even tell what’s wjhat because there are too many trichomes!!!

😂

It’s the last day of week seven, and things are beginning to wrap up.

The frostiest plant definitely has a candy, tropical fruit mixed with gasoline smell, and the others have this weird lime mixed with pine smell.

I always wondered when people said lime if it was truly lime or just lemon, they were calling lime, but now I know there is a legit lime smell ha ha.

But it definitely seems like these new genetics like RS 11 and what not definitely follow the fruity gas candy trend for those of you interested.

Wow.

We’re in the final stretch, and it’s really amazing how you can’t really tell the color change until you take them outside!!!

Holy moly.
