Day nine of flower, lots of flower sites and pistal development happening (even into the lower canopy). Noticing a bit of pigment dissipation in some of the fan leaves, too much light so I'm guessing that the optimal distance is somewhere around 15 inches to 18 inches. Next crop I will gauge the stretch and plan accordingly to finish off at 24 inches. Live and learn, the name of the game. Anyways, I fed them a good dose of nutes today, looks like I'm on an every other day watering schedule.

Damn lookin nice.. I have a few questions if you don't mind. what is the actual wattage used and how much heat does it throw off ie canopy temps, can you touch it?.

800 watts is the actual, but I havent tested that, I'm going on what the manufacturer says. the heat is non existant, you can touch the lenses no problem and they are merely warm to the touch.

Today marks two weeks of flowering under the G2-800w LED. I managed to gain a couple (and I mean exactly 2) inches in fixture height by screwing the brass light mounts into the floor joists, This should help with the light burn issue (which isn't all that bad really). I fed them today, I have been upping the nutes every feding and I am currently at about 125% of what I would be at if I were feeding these plants under 1000w HPS. I am running CalMag+ at double the suggested dosage which seems to have taken care of the CalMag deficiency issue, as crazy as that dosage sounds its working.

Day 24 of flower. Fed today, looks like the stretch is done. The chlorophyll dissipation in the fan leaves of the center plant is somewhat evident, the taller plants around the perimeter that are very close to the fixture have no signs of chlorophyll dissipation. Bud production is looking good to me at this stage of the grow. The CalMag issue is under control, I'm using double the recommended dosage on the calmag and i'm running my nutes at about 130% of the recommended dosage as well. The feeding/watering schedule seems to be every 2 days and on water days the calamg has to be in there.

Day 27 of flower, that last feeding started putting some weight on. Buds are rock hard and the smell is out of this world. I noticed a bit of powdery mildew starting on one of the plants towards the center of the grow, obviously due to lack of air flow through the very thick center canopy. I took some pics of the lower buds so you can all see how well they are doing also. The trichome development is unreal so far. I will definitely veg for only 2-3 weeks next grow and will run with the screen. I have a pretty good idea on how to make a super cool scrog box that will work unreal for a confined space such as mine :)

Anyways, here are the pics!

nasa has x5 leds they are way better than these and many other leds that kick these asses i mean the new advanced led light the ARC its the best led and best cooled led that civilians can buy its got a great spectrum like an mh bulb with an HPS bulb right beside it so you get a perfect 6500k and a 4200k and more too the lights are really chill i cant wait till they have enough to sell to the open public as their trying to build enough for the holidays i think or 2014 January the ARC is so dope its basicly like a 600w hps but with way stronger power way less use of electricity and it also does not need a balast because its built in so you can daisy chain them together they seem really dope i plus you seem to have a great nice flat canopy but looks like its just cheating because you have something surrounding the canopy with wood at a certain level tho so how are the plants doing down now thats its like a month on or did the plants die

Why don't you post a link to these X5 leds and the ARC? Why would they be building them for the holidays? Am I the only one that finds this post strange? The wood is a 4x4 frame that was supposed to have a screen over it, I vegged the plants too long so the screen didnt go up. That was all in the thread, perhaps you should re-read it ;)

29 days of flower and some seriously frosty buds!!! Has anyone seen a journal growing this fruit punch strain? It would be interesting to see what to expect, even better if someone knows of a journal using some 1000's?

30 days in flower and today I noticed the start of hash tips forming on some of the buds (see close up). Going to feed again today, they are inhaling 10 cups of water each every 1.5 days now. Should start to see some bud explosion happening shortly I hope :)

33 days of flowering. I have a bit of powdery mildew happening but nothing I cant deal with at this stage of the game. Caused by the lack of airflow through this incredible dense jungle, will obviously run with 3 plants per 4x4 going forward. I have a sick idea how to grow now in this type of environment ;)

34 days flowering, I'm going to estimate and say we are 1/2 way there right now. The trichome production is massive compared to other grows I've been checking out with the same strain. Check out the close ups, gnarly!!!
