getting the best reading

just looking for some tips on were to put my digi thermometer to get the best reading i am using a grow tent

Keep it under the light, preferrably right wthin the plant tops. This placement allows you see the temps that your plants are feeling. Yeah the light shining on it will make the readings higher, but the same thing is happening to the buds, so that's where I'd keep it of you can.
