Day 3 of flower, and I’m starting to feel like I need to do a little defol for light to get to the bud sites properly. Am I able to cut some large fan leaves to let more light pass?

I don't use liquid nutes, I mix happy frog with ocean forest, worm.casrings, some gaia green, pulverized sterilized egg shells, epsom salts, a metric ton of rice hulls to make it as easy as possible for the roots to grow. It works well for me and simply using fox farm soil and gaia green or build a soil craft blend simplifies everything in my opinion. You simply water H2O that you ph and prior to flip to flower, top dress gaia and a worm casting then you just h20 till the end, but whatever works best for you is what you should do. Good luck!
Love happy frog soil. I bought a bunch last yr & mother used a ton cuz she thought it was cheap soil, lmao! Her plants looked great tho!

Looks good @GGOGZin .....

As for the defol question....

As it looks in the picture, I would open the canopy nice and easy, and tie them down to fill the tent....

If you're still convinced they need more light, do the tuck method.....

You'll have a great turnout if your patient....

Thanks for replying man appreciate it!

Will try to do that, actually started with zip ties earlier just to try to get the shorter branches some light. Will work on getting them tucked later 🙂

Really hoping to get a good yield, it’s quite the investment for the first run with getting all the equipment plus soil and nutes etc but I know it’ll be very worth it. Got to say, this light I’m using is very kind on the energy consumption so I’m feeling like this is a good venture.

Will show you what I do once I’m done, hopefully get to it this afternoon before lights out

Day 10 of flower, super cropped the banana OG as she was getting too darn tall and they got their feeding today. Will know how they handled it by tomorrow morning I’m sure.

Clones are outside now and doing well. Hope to run a couple using lst and then scrog and might try one or two wild just for fun. Will probably have leftovers as I made way too many clones thinking I would screw up a few but it went really well and I don’t have the heart to get rid of them lol.

That makes a lot of sense, thank you for the clarification on that I feel enlightened as fk lol.

Have just put one of those ultrasonic humidifiers in the room to raise humidity. What is the idea %? Will update with pics in an hour or so
Cloned auto get smaller every time they are cloned. As they are already small plants you can imagine what that does to yields.

Luckily I’m running photos so I won’t have to worry, I can see why they would yield less each time

Did some final defol and will not be doing any more now unless absolutely necessary. Buds are forming nicely now and am starting to see their individual characteristics (2 different strains side by side)

They’re getting thirstier! Going to be alternating between water and nutes each time they need watering. Have humidity and temps perfect now and am just enjoying the ride. Couldn’t have gotten this far without a lot of you guys here so thank you for all the advice you’ve offered me along the way and the continued support and/or lurking!
