Agree if not bugs I would say it's probably a calcium issue caused by the low ph and upping the pH should probably take care of it, you might want to just do another check for bugs anyway you know, good luck!

I check ever day BW ,my father gave me my eye loop when I did my first year Hort at Brisbane Botanical gardens it's well used and my first thing I look for when going to my gardens cheers BW .
