You could always make a simple cooler that you manually add ice into. Im actually going to make one from a 5 gal bucket, a pump and some duct insulation. Ill probably experiment a little to see what works better that whatever else. Time to get my mad scientist on...

this could be fun hehe

This could possibly solve, or at least help your problem. I found some of this stuff when I moved into a house were renting and thought 'that might work great for my grow cab.' I haven't had a chance to build the cab yet, but I have a have other Ideas for it too, One of them being that water chiller I was talking about. Im also going to use it to insulate a 5g bucket for compost

Yea bro gonna have to do something of the sort. Plus might have to use hydrogaurd too. My last grow was crazy an had damn good results for how shoty the setup was. This grow will be 10x smoother than my last....just gotta do some insulating
I've had some ugly ass setups produce bomb bud, Function over fashion is one of my mottos lol I rock a pink bunny hat like a boss all winter cuz its the warmest one I have, it must be that fuzzy ball on the top of it lol (insert sarcasm emoji)

as long as it does the job!

Good luck with your new babe, I do want to say that running your 1000 watt bulb on the 600 watt setting is very hard on both the bulb and ballast. You should also have a 600 watt bulb for that setting.

What brand is your ballast? I was just at the Lumatek website and found out that you can dim a 1000 watt bulb even down to 400 watts with this ballast. I have a Lumatek 600 dimmable. But it requires the same wattage bulb for each setting being 600 or 400
