Glad to see ya TF! I'll be sure to put the Blumats through the test and report on my findings. My purchase was based on watching my local grow shop use them the past 6 months, everything they grew happened fast and looked great.

Welcome A6! I agree coco is easy and hopefully the Blumats give the week long intervals of doing nothing.
Another big factor in me wanting to get in coco is the ability to be more perpetual and go buffet on the genetics. Basically adapting my production to suit the market.
Got lucky and scooped up a new LG 18,000 btu AC for floor model price. Also a deal was to be had on 4' 8-bulb T5 fixtures so I got one for the 6 PK to veg under another couple of weeks before getting flipped on the 1st.
A few more days of construction and this party is about to get started. :yes

SKH, why have you gone to coco and not copied FreshSteppin's system? Reading an old thread and you were talking that up pretty good as not needing a chiller and being pretty foolproof...........just curious why you opted to "downgrade" (a poor choice of words, I know) all the way to coco instead of taking a small step towards more safety with FS's system.

Good question, here's my reasoning.
FS had two batches of plants die in a row with that setup and switched to soil.
Financial stability is my main factor when stepping away from the UC. I can't take the chance of crop failure. Not now anyway. With all the problematic threads popping up in UCville I got paranoid.
Why coco? Coming from someone who applied the same skillset and knowledge to both grows in coco and the UC... I personally would bag up the coco buds for a stranded island scenario. If it's my lack of skill and knowledge that leads to the final product in the UC not living up to expectations then I'd assume the quality of the coco buds to go up in due time as well.
Leaving only the argument of the UC being able to yield more than coco. Yet to be proven and always excused by user error if not satisfactory. Fast veg and large plants don't always translate to bigger yield.
Got until we die. Let's figure it out. :)

What do you think you will run nutrient wise this run? Ever think of throwing some teas into the mix. Using teas and a simple foliar regiment will help blow them up. I noticed that with my last outdoor it increased growth rate ridiculously

Splurged on the Canna line this go about. Outside of their line I've foliar fed with Liquid Light/Saturator and have a bottle of Sea Cal handy if the ladies desire it.
Really shouldn't have tried replanting into previously used coco as I'm still having signs of high EC. Next watering will be Final Phase as it's more aggressive at leeching accumulated salts when compared with Clearex.
Teas, best reminder ever! Was getting into brewing teas and rocking Flora Nova with great results before jumping on the 'kill kill kill' bandwagon. You may have to ship me some of those quality PDX ingredients Cross, people look at you strange here when various poops and syrups are asked for. You hippies sure have it nice.

Check out brix mix on groworanic.com
Its a two part you mix into the same bottle. Then a few days later hit em with yucca extract and half strength cal mag.
For teas you can keep it super simple I just used peruvian seabird guano last part of veg and beginning of flower. then week 2til week six use jamaican bat guano. These are brewed along with dr. Earth 3-3-3 mix (alfalfa meal,kelp...bone meal etc...) for 24-48 hours. Last week switch to a 1-1-1 mix and drop guanos.... start flushing once you hitwhatever week for your strain 7 or whatever strain needs
To mess with Pk I used quarter strength big bud and over drive.
That wouldn't be a problem since you are hooking it up. I think you will like the cannaboost I have a few friends that run it withthere coco
