End of week eight flower. Defoliated the entire garden of the major fan leaves. Everyone one of them did their job but these girls have only a couple of weeks left tops and the bulk of the photosynthesis is behind them now.

Although my aim was to have consistency, there were several cola's that are the biggest I've grown. It's tempting to go for a size grow but that would be more for fun.

Took a Brix reading for the first time. 6.5% Not sure what the average is but regular round tomatoes are between 3.5 - 5.5 so I'm happy with that.

Time for me to get serious with growing...I still consider myself an aspiring farmer but once this is in place I'll be a step closer to being legit.

Plants have been eating less the past couple of days which I use as an indicator for when to harvest. They'll only get tap water for the rest of the grow and will probably come down in a week's time.

Dropped the res temp to 8 degrees Celsius during lights off...it's immediately had an affect on bringing out more colour.

Too much time on my hands....after a whole five minutes of planning I threw together this. Working on the finer details

Setup a remote camera today... considering Ive messed up the lighting with leaving them on a couple of times it's handy being able to check without getting up.

I'm not sure how much the extra single bladed leaves say how far they revegged if they did at all. The single blades are genetic (pic below from last grow) and I have more on this grow than last but there is a tiny amount of mouse ear single blades that is a sign of reveg. It's also a sign of Nickel def which my plants got none of the entire grow.

Same strain different grower.

The cut down was completed yesterday. Massive job. Removed the major fan leaves and hung the cola's seperately. Took about fifteen hours from start to finish. Have organised four pair of hands to help with the trim.

Plan on drying for six days in total but will play it by ear from day five.

Total wet weight was 11.7kg for eight plants.

Day 6 of the dry and for the first time I've trimmed a nug down to see they're progress, looking good, the full trim will be in a day. Hoping to fill up my new curing jar.

Want a hand?
But seriously a great job on that grow: inspire of your source.
RQS F'd me in the A so horribly I will never use them again, but I do still have the same seed (gelato) from my last buy from them, maybe get that one dropped when I have space (week or so) but I won't be holding my breath. 20+ seeds from them only 2 have made it outta the seed.
