People forget what racism actually is. Let me define for you guys......

rac·ism
ˈrāˌsizəm/
noun
  1. prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior.
    "a program to combat racism"
synonyms: racial discrimination, racialism, racial prejudice, xenophobia, chauvinism, bigotry, casteism
"Aborigines are the main victims of racism in Australia"
    • the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.
      noun: racism
      "theories of racism

The key part here is putting a race above another. So when friends are BS'ing about race, that's not racism. Like saying white people can't jump, not racist. Black people can jump, not racist. If you said black people are much better than white people because they can jump, racist. People are a little too uptight these days, and need to learn context. IMO of course. And yes, racism exists each and every day, unfortunately. Remember, the only words that can hurt you are the words you allow to hurt you.

I saw a IG post saying something along the lines of: "The boat doesn't sink because of the water surrounding the boat, it sinks when it lets the water in." Same with feelings, words and emotions. Ultimately, you choose what you want to effect you, as strange as that may seem.
I think I get it, if your racist, dont go out on a boat, or it will sink... okay maybe I dont get it.

JK I know what ya mean, thats why I remember "sticks and stones" lol that way if they hurt my feelings I have something to throw and beat em with!

keep an eye out for my new line, British Buddhist, its next to Somalian Satanist.
I had to ask, did you post at that time on purpose? lol

I'm always curious why people look for things to be offended by??? Don't we have enough things like work, family, home to worry about, than to go out looking for things that may anger us??? I honestly believe that people are becoming far to sensitive to everything. I remember when comedians made jokes about everyone, and they were hilarious, didn't matter what ethnicity the comedian was. Now, you can't say anything funny in fear of offending someone's fragile feelings and it's extremely sad.
