Feel ya on the shed life

, it’s real hard to get motivated some days. Bought threw in the towel myself for the summer but then reality set in when I got to thinking how long it takes to get running again.
Maybe turn the flowering lights off but keep a veg running
Just adjust your lighting schedule for lights off during the hottest part of the day. I try not to have any lights running during the summer time from 12-6, or 1-7 . Those are usually the warmest times of the day.
I always lights on at night, that way I can save on ac, and see my ladies "all night long, all night"
All right my dudes. It is with much consideration and ganja and coffee and optimism beyond the moon I’ve decided to take the the finished plants and leave the unfinished. The unfinished are as follows, two HK’s x SFVog and NL86’, they have in my opinion, longer than a week to go, trying to let the currently close to being done plants express their true potency without the degraded sedative effect. The hks however if i had to guess are going to be leaning on the sativa side and would rather have that shit knock my ass out after a few hours of use.
my plan is to switch the lights after i get to read what all the equipment is using power wise (i got a kWh meter coming) and want to just see what the heck is going on with the currently running setup. Then I’ll make the light timing switch to run during the late pm and all am hours. I have a couple of different fans to use for my intake which I’ll swap out today, pumping in enough cool air with the current can fans has been an issue from the beginning. It worked during winter to pump enough warm air into the flower room to take the edge off.
Another thing im wanting to do for the duration of the finishing flowering is drop the light height and lower the power settings on the 1000w.(im going to turn the 400w off for now. I think it did a fantastic job flowering out the T1000s and frostettes! HUGE shout out to
@Dadman86 for that light! Then that newly adjusted set up will also get a reading to see what is what power consumption wise. I think i can lower the sheds overall power consumption low enough to make it make cents again…

sorry I had too
Thanks for all the input and hearing me out. Appreciate it all!
after post thought. if you guys havent seen it yet, Dust 2 Glory, watch it. there’s a scene where a gentleman is talking about how you dont want the race to end after the finish line… if only it could just go on for another mile… and then 5 miles : ) that resonated with this run coming to end and reality of shutting the shed down. im a realist, if i cant afford it I cant afford it right? but i do have a little funds to run shit out there within reason so by god thats what im going to figure out (AGAIN!)

and i love it! the race will end when im dead! : ) again thank you!
