Grow Light Speed

So I have seen these around the Web but can't dig up any info from anybody actually using one so here it is.

The GLS1000 is a 250w bulb housed in a "nanotech tech" reflector and comes with a 10 year warranty and 90 day guarantee that states the light will grow plants (and on their website cannabis IS specifically mentioned) 3/4 to 1 inch faster than a 1000w DE. I am extremely skeptical but wanted to know. Is anyone running one of these things?

I'm pretty sure it's a scam. The amazon review was written by the owner of the company posing as a commercial grow. I have contacted them and have received no correspondence.
