So yeah, fucking 88° degrees with the lights off right now! So seeing as it's only going to get worse in flower I'm gonna flip them tonight. 8pm to 8am.

They are exactly 28 days old.

Overall my idea to do positive pressure with outdoor air is paying off because I just checked and it's 102° in the shed.

And my exhaust fan is at 0

Is this kratky or auto watering?

Plain water on the bottom, 1:1:1 coco, compost and perlite on top. So far the top has gotten just water.

How long do you think it can go like this before I have to feed it? And can the small amount of roots in the pot feed the plant while the majority of the rest are underwater?

Man oh man that's harsh enviornment to keep up with. I struggle indoors with central air on right now for my 3x3 with lights on. Mine's set on 0730-730. I do wish you good luck keeping them going.

The reservoir lasted a week with a gallon to spare, that will disappear soon as I'm going to increase the volume they're getting. They will stay at 3x a day for now, 8p 12a and 4a.

I let it drift up to 6.7 pH after 3 days, brought it back down to 5.8, then three days later did the same adjustment except it had only risen to 6.5. It's really easy to move inside to the sink to clean and change out too. The fountain style aeration also helps mix up the nutes really well.

Filled her up with a very balanced dose to 900 ppm.

1 tsp micro
1 tsp grow
1 tsp bloom

Filling in nicely, waiting for the stretch. I ordered two adapter cables that I hope will fix my fan issue. I marked Aug 7th-15th on the calendar as "check trichs" Hopefully we make it until then!

8 days for the little runt to root is pretty good.

Two days ago when I checked there was zero root growth. I then changed from plain water to Jacks 15-30-15 diluted to 250 ppm. I'm not sure if it could have made a difference that fast but whatever, it rooted! I raised the strength to 350 and will leave it in the cup until the roots are long enough to put in the jar in a few days.

Here's some fun macro shots of the roots! Really good resolution to zoom in too. You can even see new nubs about to poke through the bottom or the stem. That node just above the water line has also sprouted new leaves all of a sudden.

So it's been 9 days since I flipped the lights and they are 37 days old.

One f-bomb has some uv bleaching so I subtracted the time I added and moved it from directly under the light. Everyone also got another clean up on the bottom.

The kratky jar plant has been hit with either spider mites or thrips, I can't tell yet because my microscope needs to be charged!!! Ugh, I gave it a shower and threw my pet ladybug in there. I will see what kind of little fuckers I'm dealing with when the lights come back on at 8.

And the little clone just keeps making roots

They look so much better when the lights come on! It's about to be 90° and above here for the next five days but I think they're ready.

Got the microscope charged up and gave the kratky jar a thorough inspection. Other than the obvious markings on the leaf I couldn't find anything crawling around to identify, maybe the dunk and shower was effective for now.
