I have a question...
How are you going to get the clone out of the cardboard? It will restrict the stalk to leave it.
And are you staying with water or will you transplant it to soil?

Love following your progress with the shed, it appears to be working great!
Lets hope the high temps don't muck it up.

Tbh I might just leave it and put it on top of a bigger jar. It's now in a 500 ppm strength nutrient solution. I'm not really worried about the cardboard because the stem is ultimately stronger and will just make the hole bigger on its own. If I wanted to put it in soil I would just use a scissor to carefully cut it out.

This week is the big heat test here in NYC for sure! They've been running hot their whole life so hopefully it won't be too big of a deal. They are getting watered six times a day now!!

Thanks for following along! It's really fun to share this experience with everyone 💚

"How to cook cannabis using only the sun" by grownsince95 😜

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that 111° in the shed but 95° in the tent is a win!

This morning at the end of their light cycle they looked fantastic, everyone showing lady parts. The runoff was a bit high but I just started running a lot more water through them so we'll see what happens.

The clone is going into a big jar to see if it can be a mother plant under the inside light. She's currently very happy there.

The other one with the soil is not drying back on top anymore, collecting gnats and declining in health so I switched from plain water in the bottom to GH flora trio at 550 ppm.

I'm confident enough that this F-bomb is male so it's going in the bin. Nothing about it made me want to grab some pollen anyway. Better off with just 3 plants in there. The humidity is a bit out of control.

Rolling along nicely, 18 days since I flipped the lights. Some taco leaves from the intense heat but not much I can do about it. Will chalk it up to the cost of doing business right now. VPD has been on the low side and runoff is a bit high. So far no burnt tips or signs of declining health anywhere so I'll keep calm and carry on. In a few days they will get a final cleaning up underneath and hopefully cruise to the finish line.

They have been a real pleasure to grow so far. All three were only topped once with no LST. One needed some super cropping on a few branches but that's it. 💚

The kratky experiment is fun but maybe a waste of time for flowering. The jar needs topping off about every 5 days but it stays around 80°+ so it must not have very much dissolved oxygen inside because it looks over watered lol.

The one's vegging inside the house at 70° are doing way better. I topped one and super cropped another.

The most ironic thing is I have some bugs in the house but none outside in the shed. You can't make this shit up. 🤷🏻‍♂️

You would not want the Frostberry. I believe it was crossed with an auto to flower early. Last years contenders wouldn't re-veg like the others.
The Angel '98 is such a pretty plant, the kind you indoor growers love. Long internodes, few side branches, just haven't been able to sample one yet. LOL

BTW, I'm very impressed with your experiment. If you can get that humidity to stay down, it should work out great!

They are more comfy in your house, theyre not stupid 🤣. I get the same thing for living on top of a parking lot. They get inside the parking lot because its better than outside and then they hit the jackpot when they see my window. Thankfully theyre harmless bugs for the plants. Crane-flies, mosquitoes, spiders and all sorts of winged bugs, some Ive never seen before I moved here, but they dont seem to be interested in my plants. Some fungus gnats sometimes but I have BTI and BTC in the soil, they are never able to reproduce.
Still kinda ironic but it makes sense if you look at it that way. I would expect them to be in both the shed and in your house though.

Today I made spot for drying and curing in my bedroom closet. Two small AC infinity inline booster fans and two carbon filters with an old school ink bird humidity controller. A pc fan will circulate air inside. It's what I had on hand so I made it work. I actually have a cheapo 90 watt Amazon special light that would fit nicely in there but that's for another day.

To test it, I put a five gallon bucket of food scraps we keep for compost (which smells more potent than most strains lol) with the lid open inside.

I set one fan to exhaust constantly on low to maintain negative pressure, and the other is set on high to trigger at 62% rh.

So far so good on all fronts. My house ambient is always around 50% but when the bucket when in it shot up right away. If I set the differential to 2% it has a nice steady on/off cycle. Not a whiff of anything either. 💚

Day 26 since I flipped the lights and they are going about their business in the heat and humidity. It's been off the charts to say the least. Just got back from a long weekend away and have 4 days of runoff to clean up! Yay 💚

The numbers are terrible but there's not much I can do about it. You can see on the VPD trace where the sun hits the shed every day. It happens in the dark period which is ass backwards too but may be helping in the fight against mold idk yet.

I was lazy and tried to stretch out my coco with orchid bark instead of hydrating and buffering another brick for the last pot and it settled badly. I always try to go small and fill my pots lightly but this plant is not thriving and this could be contributing idk 🤷🏻‍♂️

Also noticed that this cheapo brand of fabric pot is not wicking any water away from the medium and feels pretty dry except for the bottom. Usually would start to see some salt marks on the outside from evaporation by now.
