Day 21 of flower also threw in my old viparspectra p1500

First time growing a photoperiod as all my other grows have been autos. I’m only into week 1 of flower. Is it ok to remove big fan leaves before the 21 mark day of flower?

I wouldn’t want to stress them in anyway during the “stretch” phase. I like to defoliate a week before flipping to flower and then on day 21 and then I’ll pull a random leaf here and there if it’s blocking a bud site.

Today marks exactly 21 days, so I took advantage, might also give it a slight trim again on day 42
