Entry into @CannaGranny's One Plant One Scrog Contest.

Outdoor Shed grow. No climate control except for heater and humidifer. No cooling.

Ethos Crescendo RBx1. This is the 3rd attempt. First two seedlings did not make it. I will take responsibility due to improper technique or conditions.

PAR 250 / 15DLI until established. 18H per day.

Average temps this week. 80F
Average RH this week. 74%

Using sterile res. 10 gallon. Recirculating drip into 6x6 rockwool.

2022.10.17 Initial impression. The first 4 days of a seedling are painfully slow.
2022.10.18 Growth still feels so slow! It looks tiny. Still have not irrigated. The big block is heavy.
2022.10.19 The photo is from this morning day 6. Seems so slow. I'm so impatient.

2nd photo is of the grow chamber. I raised the tent and got a flood tray this go round so I can access the res without disturbing the plant. I also got an extra foot of headroom this way as well since the res isn't under the plant in the tent.

Current status. Larger plant had issues probably from me not soaking blocks long enough. Started 2nd plant because first was dying but now looks like it will make it.

I heavily defoliated the bigger plant down so I could grow both up. I probably will have to drop out of the scrog since I have two plants. I am curious the differences in the phenos.

So this has been topped and I just fimmed the two tops. Going to shape the canopy for next few weeks and then hopefully go into flower near end of month. All the growth is new from those two branches. Everything else was removed.

I am almost 100% Ethos.
You won't be disappointed with the high.
Mine was all funky with smell though.
Wasn't sure in the beginning, but good stuff for sure.
Only 1 now?

There were 2 definitely distinct phenos in my grow and I note sweerleaf also has two test with different numbers.

I wanted to stay with the scrog grow contest so my buddy adopted my older plant. He just got a 4x2.

Hell yeah to Ethos!! I just ordered some Skunk Hero and some other stuff during Black Friday. Hope they come soon. I want to grow some weed that stinks. lol.

I remember you growing this strain and having great results on your rosin press. I even use the silicon pads now and I think it squeezes the puck out more completely. I haven't squeeze much and scratched my pads with my sharper tools so lesson learned and don't use sharp tools.

That's too bad about the funky smell. My last grow has a terp profile that gives off a smell I don't quite get excited about. And was like 8% on the Rosin press. Sucked so bad. I'm excited about this Crescendo for sure and how I get a good yeild and squeezable.

I had some over watered issues which I think started some root rot very early on. I started sterile nutes to try and kill the rot. 14 days since it has been cut back. She's looking better than she has.

Update.
I got a 5 pack planet of the grapes freebie on my order. That strain sounds awesome. Anyone ever grow that one out?

This one is called Planet of the grapes and crossed with Grape Diamonds(very cool you grew this one). Can't wait to try this one and the Skunk Hero.

Today I was planning on bending the two main stems down but no go. Too thick and tuff. Will remember to start training much earlier next time. Resorted to some lst benders for the rest.

Here are some real pictures versus tent screen shots.

* plan is to do a pretty heavy defoil after 1 week flip.
* switch to flower nutes when pistils start to show.

she isn’t the most symmetrical but I think she looks pretty good so far.

So my ppms seem to be going down. What does that mean? It was around 650 or so and now 570. I'm used to it going up as the res goes down.

Planning on a defoliation this weekend.
