Harvest minus how many weeks for worthwhile trim on a 7 week photoperiod Indica?

Hiya guys, I just wondered if anyone out there has a cut off, where the trim they can take before full harvest (lower stuff mainly) outweighs going to a dealer instead? This obviously reduces yeild, but can save a lot if you're waiting on a good crop.

As strains vary, I'm basing my question on a seven week photoperiod indicia.

Any thoughts appreciated.

The little lower buds are not going to grow into big buds so taking them to smoke is not gonna mess you up. It may actually allow extra energy to the remaining buds, increasing their size slightly.
