I’m in week eight flower of my wedding cake strain in DWC and my P PMs are as low as 450. The plants look great, I’m having no issues but I want to know because I can’t find any information if that ppm is just too low? I’m using well water which has a ppm of about 150 also so that means they’re really only getting about 300 ppm’s of nutrients…

I guess I can post some pics but I already have the answer and like I said in my original post they look great I’m definitely reading the plant that’s why I’m not too worried about it… there’s just not much information on wedding cake strain and this is my first time with GH products. My first two weeks of flower they didn’t even really Do anything until about week three so I feel like even though I’m in week eight I have more than two weeks left and that’s why I posted the question… Give me a few minutes and I’ll go out there and take some up to date photos.

Actually, this video was from Friday that’s good enough I’m kind of busy to go out there and take pictures LOL… As you can see each plant has its own characteristics but I feel on at least two of the plants you can see how much more room there is to stack. Wedding cake strain says temperature should be around 70° but I found a higher temperature is better so there are a lot of things that I ever read about the strain that aren’t actually true in my case.

I’m a rookie grower myself so I’m always amused by other people’s ideas. That being said, you have a beautiful setup man, and the plants look great! Keep it up!! 🗿

Thanks, only my second grow myself, last year did og kush using advanced nutrients and it was hella hard compared to this grow. I didn’t even use any bloom nutrients and still got 13 oz off 4 plants but I can tell my yield with these will be much higher

I also tried running AN, wasn’t at all a good experience.. what nutes are you using now? I’m curious, because iv been using Botanicare but iv got it pretty dialed in. I keep hearing most nutes are the same.

Just took these pics, I feel like there are a few more weeks tbh by looking at the buds. I’m actually repeating this weeks nutrient schedule because I’m supposed to be using the “ripening “ nutrients and then flush next week and I don’t think it’s time yet..

A lot of people on here would recommend you scoping the buds to see the trichs, I use a magnifying glass but for the most part I look at my pistil colors and wait to see more amber. But I would also say they need some more time. Looks on track though! 👌🏼

I have a jewelers loop but I haven’t used it yet because I can tell they are still growing just not sure if repeating the same nutrient schedule is correct or just go to ripening and flush. I feel like I should repeat about 3 more weeks lol but haven’t read any info on here about that scenario

I can’t compare too much because Iv never used that nutrient line, but I find myself typically feeling my plants no less than 500ppm before flower and I start with 0ppm water. Shit I accidentally started my plants from seedlings on my current run at 400ish ppm on accident but since I didn’t have enough water to drain and refill again I let it run. Some didn’t like it at first but they have all recovered since. I’m not usually a heavy feeder..

I actually followed there recommendation for this whole grow I gave it the full you know 1300 ppm‘s all through veg and many weeks into flower even though I know you’re not supposed to but since it was my first time with gh I thought I would see how far I can push the limits and the plants were fine they showed nothing but growth just not as fast as my last year‘s grow the OG Kush grew crazy fast.. but now I see by following this Hydro Troubleshooting graph I have That the plant is adjusting itself to lower and lower Ppm’s’s and like I said I’m down to 450 PPM ‘s, my water level is lowering, my EC is static, and my PH has been rising and I check once a day every morning as soon as lights come on
