Heat damage to new germinated seedlings

I started some new seeds at the wrong time, the outdoor temperatures are in the 80s F. I have a tent inside of a garage with no air conditioning. This is the one seedling that survived, if you can even say that. I replanted it, gave a little water and sat it outside in indirect sunlight. What are its chances?

That seed looks like it died from damping off. It isn't viable. Damping off is common.

Put it in light shade with a clear dome, water bottle cut in half. But probably too late.

should of buried it much deeper at least.

There are a few living cells in that thing, but as a seedling it's a goner.

If it's 80F outside, it could be a lot hotter in the tent in your garage. Do you have a thermometer or temp data logger in there?
