So we’re near the end of a two-day soil flush with about 4 inches of rain hopefully ending later today. Time to do a couple things when rain stops. Most of these steps are pretty intuitive.

1. Shake off rain from plants and use leaf blower to help if you have one.
2. Add more support stakes, strings, cables, etc, to budding branches because they’re gonna get FAT soon if not already.
3. Wait a few days for soil to drain then give a heavy feed of bloom booster nutes.
4. Pull a bunch of plate leaves to improve airflow and expose bud sites to sunlight.
5. Spray with Purecrop1 (or whatever you have) to ward off potential WPM.
6. Prepare plant covers for future rains.
7. Stay vigilant for WPM and bud rot.

If outdoor growers have other tips for dealing with budding plants after rains, please let us know. Happy growing!
