I'm completely new to this and I'm really excited. The issues I'm having are that I know very little. I have a 4×8 tent in my basement. Didn't expect that thing to be that big first off....lol. I ordered two six inch fans for the tent and today I got 2 four inch inline fans. Is this going to work for my tent or is it impossible. I'm eager to get started but I'm trying to minimize as much mistakes as possible. I even got some jellyroll for my plants to listen to lol! I'm serious! I have really spent all the cash I can on this project at this point. What do I do guys.

Welcome! I grow outdoors! But there’s plenty of indoor people around here that will be able to help you out with suggestions! Be patient!👍

Welcome!

Is your tent set up yet?

Do any of your fans have carbon filters and ductwork?

What kind of lights do you have?

Are you able to post pictures of your gear?

We'll all help you get started.

The big tents like that most guys suspend box fans for air movement. The large fans move a lot of cubic feet of air without strong airflow from a sweep fan that can parch a plant from airflow. That is basically 2 of mine and that boggles my mind. I have a s*it ton of fans in tent and I still find dead spots with little moveable cubes for Humidity and temp.
2 4 inch will not be effective if you run enough lights to use the whole tent. if you have say 700 watts and want to run about 1/2 I think the math holds up for air movement but not with 1509 watts. 8 inch or 2 6 inch units.
Before launch see if you can do the following.
raise temp to 85 and then humidity to 60%
lower temp to 75 and raise humidity to 80%
lower temp to 65 and reduce humidity to at least 40%
These are normal benchmarks for various strains we see grown here
If you can not hit those marks you will have issues with growth and how good the plant can resist stress. Not saying you will fail but it is so much harder and yields can suffer.
Lots of help from folks here. Ask about media and nutrition and testing tools for lights, PH and EC.
Highly recommend you read grow journals and diaries. You can navagate to the diaries area and use the search feature to look for growrs who are using your media and nute choice. Read the old ones and see how the rails came off so you do bot have to learn that one. I read at least 60 diaries before my first launch and still did not learn that a $20 PH tool will break your heart.

And to outfit that entire tent is an expensive proposition! So consider just using half of it! You’re gonna need two lights to use all of it anyway! You can get by with one good one in each half. And get the second one later! Or a third of it! Don’t let the size of that tent, hamstring you!
