I Have a question, not really directly related to growing. I have a few Metal Halide bulbs I want to turn into pipes and bongs. Has anyone ever taken off the brass screw in base on one? You tube has a vid for regular light bulbs, but nothing on the much bigger and thicker halide bulbs.

I am no expert on these matters but those bulbs have Mercury in them among other things. The outer bulb is also coated to reduce UV rays.
