help cloning

Hi,
First time cloning and so far I've just got one question. I've got 1 1/2 wool rockwool, now my seed trays are a little bigger. Does the rockwool have to be touching anything for them to work? Meaning can they just set in the open under the dome? do you leave the wrapping around them if you do?

The reason I ask I while watching a video I just barely got this on the clip. Don't know why 3 in one cube, but I was wondering if anyone had tried it this way?

No they,l be fine like that.leave the wrappings on until you go to transplant once rooted.the wrapper will give any roots that pop out under it a bit of protection from the air and light.just make sure the rock wools not too wet.you don't want em dripping wet, just moist.
