Hi guys, first time grower.
Growing jack herer auto from seed in a dwc (cash crop). I have 2 Plants that are around 3 weeks old and starting to notice brown/rust colored spots on some leaves and drooping. So far seems to affect both old and new growth. One plant seemed to get this early and the plant was doing ok but I'm now noticing spots on this one too.
Grow info:
Medium: hydro dwc/ clay pellets/organic start plug

Humidity: 40-55 RH
Light cycle: 18/6

Do you have a ppm meter I think your nutrients are way to high.

Pictures of the roots?

Brand and distance of the light?

Also any leaves laying on the hydroton or buckets, remove them. They will not transpire and will die.

Thanks for replying. Just picked up a TDS/EC meter. Here are the readings I got measuring the reservoir directly
TDS: 250ppm
EC: 550 us/cm

Here's a pic of the roots. Not sure it's root Roy or if it's nutrient stain.

Ppm is good but definitely some root issues.

Take some ph'ed and temp adjusted water in a seperate bucket and gently clean the roots of with your hand removing any slime and brown spots. Just a gentle rub.

Then double dose the hydrogaurd in 1 gal of distilled water and pour half through from the top. Check this daily and do it for 3 days in a row.

How high is the water in relation to the net pot?

While doing that do a res change and add 200-300ppm of nutrients and double dose of hydrogaurd before putting it back in.
