Help Project for Late 2025 Indoors.

I love DIY, its my thing. But also the main reason we grow. Well 80% we grow because of medicinal purposes.
But we grow THC. I have one small issue and is why indoors.
For Crones Disease that my son has most cannabis works. But blue dream is by far the best for him he reports.
However here in the Pacific Northwest I can never seem to find it.
This is year two growing Cannabis. ( Our family not me grew before due to their age stopped)
So two years growing outside 2024 and now 25

I can find seeds and would mean I need to germinate and control indoors.
At least until May when outdoor planting usually begins as temps move up then.
So ( legally flowing cannabis here is 4 plants I leave room for 8 incase any die)
But having 8 plants before flowering is OK as our laws list it as Hemp as it would have no real THC to measure in most cases until flowering.
I have small one care garage. So it is a work shop as well as light storage. I can probably build a 8x8x8 area and still allow me access to my stuff.

Here are details to what I have.
There is a main garage door, and a entrance door. No natural light, no windows. ( long story was once a large garage and carport converted to living space and a pantry).
The roof is low as the carport became the Garage this is like 35 years ago. I cant reach the ceiling its like 8ft maybe.
I have no heating vents. I do have two portable air-conditioners, and no heaters really.
I have maybe two free 20amp plugs that I can use. The floor is concrete with a commercial carpet on it. Cause its got cold in there.
There is no insulation on the roof or walls. It can get 32F ( 0 CEL ) to 43Cel at peak in summer. The garage itself is probably guessing 16x22Feet (4.8x3.7m).
I have access to free wood material in most cases. There are over head plugs as well. 3 if I recall.
The door goes into the Pantry/walk way into Kitched and is a steel door.

I have never germinated Cannabis, Never built and indoor grow. I would only need it from seed to say 1 Gallon pots.
If I did well then I may try year round.

Results, I need something not expensive. I have zero issue building or wiring so do not need kits.
But there is allot going on in the family right now and I need cost to stay down.
I am hoping to build the mini grow during summer to be ready to plant seeds.

Well I’m in the uk but I easily found blue dream available in the USA

However many breeders blue dream is bread differently

Most are sativa dominant however there’s a few that are Indica dominant so it really depends on where you’ve got your blue dream from before and how it was bread

Your going to have to find a way to keep your temps around 75-80f daytime with a drop to 65-70f at night

Your also need to consider your humidity to high in flower & you’ll get mold

You also will need to introduce some airflow

As for a germination room you don’t need one
Any place dark & warm should suffice
You can germinate with tissue ( paper toilet paper ) or put them in water albeit I’m not that familiar with that method or you can simply put them straight into the soil

1 gallon isn’t really enough as the plant gets older it will need more room normally ending up in 5gallon unless as you said your going to move them outside ( not in pots )

You can get away with less however the roots will get restricted and yield will suffer

That said you can do a micro grow

Good luck and hope it works out for you as there’s nothing better for your medical needs than being able to grow on your own

Am no diy expert however I have seen many a good grow room done on a budget

If ur in a hurry and want fast results grow fem autos … check out local hardware store or amazon has like foil insulation rolls or you can get some insulation boards.. as for the concrete u will want to make sure your plants are up off the ground.. it’s a never ending learning process but ur st the right place… do your research watch videos ect find what works best for u and build on that

I like the idea of auto, as I did see some Blue Dream Auto seeds. For my situation Autos could be a game changer.
