Help! The tops are drying out and looking ugly

I just had to cut this off my plant. The tops are drying out and looking ugly. I have a bunch that look great and a few like this one. I don’t think it’s rot because it started with the leaves and almost like it just started drying out on the plant?? I did use moab once and I’m thinking I used it to early which I think had something to do with it possibly? This is my first plant and I don’t want it to get fed up if I can help it! Any feedback would be great!

Probably caterpillars in the buds. Put a bin under them to see what drops out.

To me it lookS like a bud rot. So fungus!
If it was me i would throw the whole thing away.
