Gonna need a dehumidifier 100% if that the case... you are running an exhaust fan for air exchange right? That's a must.
Not yet mate but I will be. I've got it there just gotta set it up this weekend. Didn't think I'd need so soon. The room has some ventilation so I'll leave the tent open the next couple of days through night cycle then get it set up this weekend.

Hiya AM. Got my exhaust set up. Keeping temperatures down a bit but keeping RH between 50-60 at all times, and the plants have responded to the burst of fresh air. Feel like node spacing is pretty good so hoping I've got light about right. Definitely some warping on those first leaves. New growth seems better. Anything obvious you can see from the photos? Cheers ☺️

Question for you mate. If I run the exhaust during the day, it brings RH down to about 40% which is at the low end for small plants. However it means a steady supply of cool filtered air being pulled from outside through the air conditioning system. Would you favour the steady supply of fresh o2 and CO2 over the little bit of humidity? As long as we stay in a good VPD band?

Started doing a light rhizo foliar spray just to make up for missed nutes in that first week. They love it. Instant colour change and they just look healthy. Have put some in the tank so their next 40 litres they will get a nice hit of rhizo, hopefully help them fill the pots a bit. Hope so, stuff is not cheap.

Don't spray the plants bro... imo those little guys will use little co2. Just turn the fan down to half and that should be plenty for now and help raise the humidity.

What's the danger with spraying the plants out of interest? Have read a few things saying foliar spraying is a really efficient way to deliver rhizo. What is the argument against? Is there risk of burning the plants, or is it more to do with fungus and rot?

It's is if you know what your doing or have a need to. But you don't spray with lights on it can burn the plants. What is it you are spraying with?

Sometimes less is more. They're almost at the point you can leave them alone on auto pilot with timers.
Awesome thanks mate. Us newbie helicopter parents need to be reminded sometimes. Good to get confirmation that I'm on the right track ☺️

Just a very light rhizo solution pH down to 6.3. Just to assist with rooting. Founded it helped to bring them a bit more green where they had a bit of yellowing from lack of nutes. They look fine now though so no need to continue I wouldn't think.

What is your measure for when you've gone from seedling to veg time? Is there a set rule of number of leaves, or is it more about time?

I usually account for about 7-10 days for clones and similar with seeds from when I start them. Idk if that's right but it's what I do.

So if your plants looked like mine do above you'd consider it in veg? Those are 17 days from germination.

Dark period for foliar spray, I 2nd that. I start in Pro-Mix using 3" jiify cups for 10 days or so before transplanting to the Coco/perlite for veg. Thanks for the views.

Found this online from a former greenhouse grower. Given that I'm now pushing into vegetation proper, I'm keen to get some thoughts. What it shows for early seedling/clones is in line with what Aqua Man has suggested. Just want to get some input before I do as this says and move from 15 to 25 DLI in the space of a week!
