Hello growers,
I see in this forum a few people that have some experience. I am looking for a rig and could use some help from someone with experience.
Question 1: Can I use a chiller from my 5L RotoVap for this machine as well? I'm reading that you want the "chiller" temp to be 40 - 60. That's above ambient. I'd actually need a heater to get there. My question is if there is enough heat in the process that you actually do need a chiller once it gets going, or if I need a chiller/heater?
Question 2: I have a vacuum that can pull 25 Torr on my RotoVap. Will that be sufficient for this process?
Question 3: Can I potentiate which cannabinoids I catch (say I am trying to just grab THCv boiling point 220* C) is that possible?
If you were trying to make carts as cleanly as possible, what would you buy? Say budget of a few grand. Typically I would go to Aliexpress, but I'm concerned about the cheap mantles and questionable temp controls.
