It’s kind of counterintuitive, buddy. The thing is is when a plant is so small and a pot is so big every time you feed it the majority of the feed goes right past the root zone of a small plant and settles at the bottom after a while. it’ll be so saturated down there. The roots will never have a chance to penetrate it Because roots need air in order to be able to Grow, this is when you hear about people who go to harvest they cut their plant down and they go to pull the Root ball out and only 1/2 to 1/3 of the dirt is taken up with roots and the rest of it is so saturated they never bothered to try and get to that part of the pot, And that instance is the lucky one it can lead to a whole myriad of other problems so it’s always better to start in a small pot and hang out until at least the plants full veg out of seedling and growing healthy on the top of the dirt as well as the bottom
You can avoid these problems by using a spray bottle to water as opposed to a watering Can you have much more control over it and you can give the plant exactly what it needs as opposed to possibly causing issues with a heavy hand.

Everything @HerbalEdu said^^^ I'll add my Start-up: If its a Coco run?, I plant seeds directly after overnight Soak 3:1 H20/H202, (sometimes shells are already cracked sometimes not) I dont like to disturb the taproot is why they are planted immediately after soak, "I like them to anchor/sprout properly on their own". They are then put in "dampened" Coco (pH 6.0) in Solo Cups, do not water again for several days, I use clear cups inside of opaque cups, if you zoom the photo you can see the humidity in the coco and healthy root hairs on the roots, this "humidity/oxygen zone" is perfect environ for the roots. After a week I will start around 75-100ppm Nutrient Solution, "3rd picture" they are starting to show signs of Hunger, I will up my solution it to 200-300ppm. Ive used "FloraNova Grow" on all my seedlings for about 6 years now, its gentle on seedlings and has everything they need. After 2.5 wks these went into Permanent Pots, as these are Auto's, (autos run side by side with my Photo's till the Flip) After Wk 4 Veg, I start with MegaCrop Salt Nutrients.

tip: use a soldering iron to burn perfect round holes in plastic cups.

these are Auto's so they went directly into permanent, 3 gal pots, they will grow with my Photoperiods until the 12/12 flip.

keep at it my'dude!
Wow yours looks amazing,so healthy and green,I have noted down everything herbalEdu and yourself have showing me,it's alot to take in when starting off,I'm so glad I found this site, thank you for you information buddy I will stick at it and keep everyone updated on how I get on,cheers mate 😎👍

I have another 2 seedlings getting ready in a glass of water, should be ready for tomorrow,I have expanding soil discs or rock wool, what one should I use,I've always just planted straight into the coco but not succeed yet that way.I have another small led light, should I put them under that first, again I've always put them straight into the tent under a 250w light, the omega one that you can turn from 250w up to 600w,the led light is a 140w Mars hydro,I've always tried it this way because a mate of mines does it this way but I don't succeed.

Hi,I'm using coco natural soil mix in 15 ltr pots,I water using every night if needed,my ph levels are 6.5 and temperature goes upto 24°c during daytime and drops to 20°c at night humidity is around 50%,I have them on a timer at 18/6 under a 250w light,my last 5 seedlings eventually died, ive started 2 new ones but they seem to be going the same way,I only used water for the first 14 days then I put in 0.2ml of pk 9/18 plant magic but slowly over the following days they seem to be not growing and staying the same,I will get new pictures of the new ones up with natural light, thanks for your response, every little helps.
that is a lot of light for a seedling, can you dim or raise it?

Have spray bottle ready, is it OK to spray them when you have the light on or is it best to leave it till it's off

i use a 150w, dimmed to lowest setting, at least a foot away, you really only want about 100 ppfd

Hi,I need help on growing my seedlings, I've growing clones before that I found easy, now can't get any clones and I'm growing from seeds,at least I wish, every time I get to the 14 day mark,I notice my leaves starting to turn yellow, I've done everything I can think of,they eventually die,I don't know what I'm doing wrong, any help and advice would be great, also would love to purchase some clones, growing for my personal health issues, thanks in advance.
It looks like overwatering by the rounded look of the leaves that are dropping. I leave a clear solo cup over them till they get bigger a couple nodes, spritz the inside of cup when needed to retain humidity. I use a living soil and feed an according to the directions. I also use bottom heat too. Cloning is my deal. I have 30 gg 4 clones. When my tents clear I flower them. Trying to get thru all 30 before they die. 🤣

My new seedlings I will do with the clear cup and under 140w light,I will keep going till I get it right, never realised how hard it actually is to keep a seedling healthy, I've only growing clones once, they turned out amazing but yet to grow from seedlings, what strains do you have,I would purchase clones if shipped to ML2 0JN
trying to grow for my own and family members health problem,I'm yet to succeed from seedlings, keep killing them.
