hey is this bud rot ?

was getting ready to harvest the little thing and saw this, looks like bud rot but i have never had it and wanted some others opinions
and if it is can i just cut off the affected bud and dry the rest to smoke

I chopped mine out and used the clean buds for butter. It keeps coming back during drying otherwise, I don't recommend smoking, but it's your life and your lungs in the end .

could it be used for bubble hash ? the shit is so sticky and smelly i really would hate to throw it out
